The Cruise
TCA's First Legacy Cruise, from New York to Nova Scotia.
Spend 7 nights with your TCA friends and family enjoying some of the most fantastic fall foliage you’ve ever seen as we cruise up the coast of New England. Enjoy Carnival Cruise Line's Victory!
September 13-20th, 2008.
The ship leaves from and returns to New York City. For those who prefer not to negotiate New York traffic, TCA bus transport between New York and Strasburg on departure and return days is available as an option at modest cost. (Make sure to ask for this when making your reservation.)
A TCA Legacy.
Aside from being great fun, this is also a fundraising event. TCA will receive a portion of each person’s passage, so your trip can help build TCA's Endowment Fund, proving added support for our hobby's future.
Special Benefit: A Unique Car
Every person going on the first TCA Legacy Cruise will receive a Lionel flatcar with a 1934 Ford stake body load. This car has custom markings and graphics prepared by Pleasant Valley Processing and is only available to those going on the cruise. This car WILL NOT be offered for sale by TCA and is limited to one per person.

A Note from TCA Director of Development Jane Boyce:
I was invited as a guest to visit the ship in New York, take a tour and have lunch with our representative, Kim. Wow! What an awesome trip that was! I was surprised at the size of the ship – it is huge! So big, in fact, that we were told that the Statue of Liberty would fit inside the center of ship and there would still be room to spare above Lady Liberty’s head! And it is 3 football fields in length!
I couldn’t believe the luxurious accommodations – spas, a fitness club, 4 swimming pools – one with a huge water slide, golf, a casino, Bingo, music and dancing, complimentary room service, many nightclubs and restaurants, theaters, an internet café and even Camp Carnival for the kids and Club 02 to keep 15-17 year olds busy. Everything on the ship was absolutely spotless and the cabins were very generous in size. There was plenty to keep everyone busy and I am happy to report that the food was AWESOME! |
Because we will be sailing into Canada, passports are REQUIRED. Please apply now to avoid disappointment. Remember that this process is taking longer than it used to. |
