"The End of the Line"
Gary Lavinus devoted over twenty years of his life to TCA as National President and Chairman of the Education and Museum Committee. His work with the committee made your National Toy Train Museum into the showplace it is today. His untimely passing in May of 2005 created a void that will be difficult to fill.
A caboose marks the end and this caboose marks the end of Gary’s contributions to the Museum and TCA, although his inspiration will last forever. Designed by the Education and Museum Committee, this work caboose decorated for the N & W, Gary's favorite railroad, is a tribute to Gary and his work at the your Museum.
The caboose carries Gary’s TCA membership number and comes with a figure of Gary waving goodbye that can be placed on the rear platform of the caboose. This is a Lionel caboose assembled and decorated by Pleasant Valley Processing and the figure is from Railmen.
This car is available only to TCA members. There is a limit of one (1) car per member.
